Powerball, Mega Millions, Millionaire for Life & More
Random lottery numbers for six U.S. games, in the format a ticket prints
Use this free lucky lottery number generator to create random ticket numbers for Powerball, Mega Millions, Millionaire for Life, Lucky for Life, Cash4Life, and Lotto America. Pick between a fully random quick pick, a birthday-based set using dates that matter to you, or a balanced mode that spreads picks across the full number range for each game. Every set is generated instantly and formatted the same way your state lottery would print it on a ticket, so you can copy your numbers straight to the counter. No generator can improve your actual odds of winning — every drawing is independent and completely random — but this tool makes picking your own numbers fast and effortless.
Powerball is sold in 45 states and Washington, D.C.
Our lucky number generator creates random number combinations for popular US lottery games including Powerball, Mega Millions, Millionaire for Life, Lucky For Life, Cash4Life, and Lotto America. Each number is selected completely at random, just like the lottery machines used in official draws.
Birthday mode uses digits from your birthday to create meaningful number combinations — some people enjoy playing dates that are special to them. Balanced mode creates a mix of odd and even numbers, which some players prefer for aesthetic reasons. Neither approach changes your odds of winning.
Quick Pick x5 generates five sets of numbers at once, simulating buying five Quick Pick tickets at a retailer.
Remember: every combination has exactly the same probability of being drawn. A ticket with 1-2-3-4-5 is just as likely as any other combination. Play responsibly and only spend what you can afford.
Each U.S. lottery game uses a different number pool and a different bonus ball, so the generator changes its range when you switch games. The table below is the quick reference; the sections after it explain what each game is and who can play it.
| Game | How to play | Jackpot odds | Play | Draws | Where |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Powerball | 5 from 1–69 + Powerball 1–26 | 1 in 292,201,338 | $2 | Mon, Wed, Sat · 10:59 PM ET | 45 states + D.C. |
| Mega Millions | 5 from 1–70 + Mega Ball 1–24 | 1 in 290,472,336 | $5 | Tue, Fri · 11:00 PM ET | 45 states + D.C. |

Ticket prices are the base play price and can differ slightly by state. Jackpot odds are for the top prize only.
Pick 5 numbers from 1–69 and one Powerball from 1–26. The default game here, and the one most players search for. Pick five white balls and a Powerball above, or use Quick Pick x5 to get five complete lines formatted the way a retailer terminal prints them.
Latest Powerball results →Pick 5 numbers from 1–70 and one Mega Ball from 1–24. Five numbers from 1–70 plus a Mega Ball from 1–24, drawn every Tuesday and Friday. The Mega Ball range is smaller than Powerball's, which is why the two jackpot odds are close despite different main pools.
Latest Mega Millions results →Pick 5 numbers from 1–58 and one Millionaire Ball from 1–5. The for-life game that replaced Lucky for Life and Cash4Life in most states in February 2026. It pays $1,000,000 a year for life on a $5 ticket at 1 in 22,910,580 — dramatically better odds than either national jackpot, because the top prize is an annuity rather than a rolling nine-figure pool.
Latest Millionaire for Life results →Pick 5 numbers from 1–48 and one Lucky Ball from 1–18. Only Delaware still runs this game — every other member state moved to Millionaire for Life in 2026. The generator keeps the format because Delaware players still buy it; if you play anywhere else, choose Millionaire for Life instead.
Delaware lottery results →Pick 5 numbers from 1–60 and one Cash Ball from 1–4. Cash 4 Life — written Cash4Life on most official sites — is still sold in Florida, Maryland and Missouri after the other member states moved to Millionaire for Life. Its 1 in 21,846,048 top-prize odds are the shortest of any game on this page.
Lottery results by state →Pick 5 numbers from 1–52 and one Star Ball from 1–10. A $1 multi-state game with five numbers plus a Star Ball, drawn Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Its 1 in 25,989,600 jackpot odds are shorter than Powerball's or Mega Millions', and the fixed lower-tier prizes make it a cheaper way to play a national-style game.
Lottery results by state →The majority of lottery tickets sold in the U.S. are Quick Picks — the terminal selects the numbers for you at random. There's a common belief that hand-picking "meaningful" numbers gives you better odds, or conversely that Quick Picks are luckier because "the machine knows." Neither is true. A machine-generated combination and a hand-picked combination have exactly the same probability of matching the drawn numbers, because the drawing itself doesn't know or care how a ticket's numbers were chosen.
Where your choice of numbers does matter is in a completely different way: how much you'd have to split a jackpot with if you win. Because so many players gravitate toward birthdays (which caps numbers at 1–31), anniversaries, and other meaningful dates, tickets built from those numbers are disproportionately likely to be duplicated by other winners on the rare occasion the jackpot is hit. A Quick Pick, or any combination that includes numbers above 31, statistically reduces (but never eliminates) the odds of sharing a jackpot with someone else — a genuinely useful fact, even though it has zero effect on whether you win in the first place.
Whatever method you use to pick, the numbers on this page (and any lottery tool like it) are generated for entertainment. Play only with money you can comfortably afford to lose, treat the lottery as a form of entertainment rather than an investment or income strategy, and set a budget before you buy rather than after. If playing ever starts to feel less like entertainment and more like something you can't step away from, resources like the National Council on Problem Gambling helpline (1-800-522-4700) are free, confidential, and available around the clock.
No. Every lottery draw is completely random and independent — no generator, birthday, pattern, or system can improve your odds of winning. This tool is for fun, not a winning strategy, and it's no guarantee of any result.
Every individual number combination has exactly the same odds of being drawn, whether it's your birthday or fully random. The only real-world difference is that birthday-based picks (limited to 1–31) are more popular among all players, so if you win, you're statistically more likely to split the jackpot with someone else who picked similar numbers.
Quick Pick mode generates five separate random number sets at once, the same way a store's quick-pick terminal would — just without buying an actual ticket.
Choose Lucky for Life in the game selector: five numbers from 1–48 plus a Lucky Ball from 1–18. Lucky for Life is now sold only in Delaware — every other state that offered it moved to Millionaire for Life in February 2026 — but the generator keeps the original format for Delaware players.
Cash 4 Life uses five numbers from 1–60 plus a Cash Ball from 1–4. It's still sold in Florida, Maryland and Missouri; the other states that ran it switched to Millionaire for Life in February 2026.
Pick Millionaire for Life in the game selector to get five numbers from 1–58 plus a Millionaire Ball from 1–5. The game is sold in 27 states, draws every night at 11:15 PM ET, and pays $1,000,000 a year for life on the top prize.
Yes. Powerball is five numbers from 1–69 plus a Powerball from 1–26, and Mega Millions is five numbers from 1–70 plus a Mega Ball from 1–24. Both are available in 45 states and Washington, D.C., and switching games only takes one click.
