What We Are

LotteryMap is an independent, informational site β€” we don't sell lottery tickets, operate a lottery, or represent any state lottery commission. Read more on our About page.

We aim to respond to all inquiries within a few business days.

How We Source and Verify Data

Every winning number, jackpot amount, and prize figure on LotteryMap is pulled from official state lottery sources β€” either a state's own public data feed and API where one is available, or official winning-numbers pages and press releases where it isn't. Retailer information is sourced the same way: from official state open-data portals when a state publishes one (as several do), supplemented by publicly reported winner-location announcements for states that don't. We don't crowdsource results or accept user-submitted numbers as a primary source, precisely because accuracy matters more here than almost anywhere else on the internet β€” a wrong number on a lottery site isn't a small mistake.

That said, official sources occasionally lag, get corrected after the fact, or format data in inconsistent ways across states, and any automated pipeline pulling from dozens of independent state systems will occasionally surface a discrepancy. That's exactly what the corrections address above is for β€” if something here doesn't match what your state lottery's own site shows, we want to know, and the state lottery's own published numbers always take precedence over anything shown here. When in doubt about a specific prize claim or ticket, always verify directly with your state lottery before making any decision based on this site.
