About LotteryMap

LotteryMap.com is an independent, informational website that tracks and visualizes publicly available US lottery data — draw results, historical winning numbers, jackpot milestones, and the locations where winning tickets have been sold. We built it because this data exists across dozens of separate state lottery sites, and we wanted one place to see, search, and map it.

What LotteryMap Is

LotteryMap is a data and reference tool. Our pages present historical results, statistics, and location information sourced from official state lottery agencies and public records. We build calculators and interactive tools — like our tax calculator, odds calculator, and number simulator — to help people understand how these games actually work, mathematically and financially.

What LotteryMap Is Not

LotteryMap does not sell lottery tickets, does not operate a lottery or any gambling service, and is not affiliated with any state lottery commission or lottery operator. We don't process payments, accept wagers, or facilitate ticket purchases of any kind. Every result, ranking, or "lucky store" designation on this site is a historical record, not a prediction. Lottery drawings are random and independent events — no past result, number pattern, or retailer history has any effect on the odds of a future drawing.

Where Our Data Comes From

Draw results and winning numbers are sourced from official state lottery data feeds and public open-data portals (including state lottery commission publications and public APIs). Winning-retailer information is compiled from official lottery winner announcements and public licensed-retailer directories. Every page on the site links to its underlying source so you can verify the data directly with the official lottery.

Our Approach

  • We report historical data as it was officially published — we don't alter, weight, or editorialize results.
  • We clearly label statistical or informational content as such, and never imply that past results predict future ones.
  • We link back to official state lottery sources so every number can be independently verified.
  • We keep our tools (tax calculator, odds calculator, simulator) transparent about their assumptions and limitations.
